Dr. Thomas Schrapel

Head of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung regional program Political dialogue South Caucasus. He studied History and Archaeology at Humboldt University Berlin. From 1983 – 1985 he was lecturer at Humboldt University Berlin. After worked in Berlin Pergamon Museum as Scientific assistant. 1989 – 1993 was Scientific assistant at the University of Trier. 1993 Ph.D. in Ancient History and Archaeology.  In 1993 was Political advisor at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). From 1998 – 2003 he worked as Political advisor at the German Bundestag. Then from 2004 – 2010 was KAS country director in Mongolia. 2010 – 2012 became Political advisor at KAS Research Department. 2012 – 2016 was KAS country director in Albania. Since March 2016 is Director of Regional Program Political Dialogue South Caucasus.
